The salon is a high-end hair brand, and the design is named "Strands of Hair". The designer considers the atmosphere and visual impression that the customer feels after entering the space. The designer uses a lot of curves to echo the hair strands that fall during the haircut. Then the hairdresser arranges the customer's hair strand by strand. The strands of hair look like white iron mesh with interlocking wires. The rigid iron mesh can stick to the curved wall, softening the strong characteristics of the building material itself. At the same time, the spatial area is more clearly defined, creating a gentle appearance.
To present the feeling of soft, flowing hair, the design of the work involves multiple processes, including the oval chandelier on the ceiling, which is seamlessly spliced and has embedded light strips, becoming one of the focal points of the space. The rose gold titanium-plated mirror frame is also folded by hand to create the feeling of falling hair, which is similar to that of an organism. The entire space uses only rounded elements to outline the environment, making the space consistent with the brand's style.
The site is a 60-ping (approximately 16.3 square meters) two-story used house. As a high-quality Korean-style hair salon, the design uses large floor-to-ceiling windows and glass doors to easily create a fresh and transparent feel, and to lay out the imagery of haircutting, giving the space new life and definition. At the same time, it shows simplicity and neatness as well as creative ingenuity. The use of near-white beige and warm wood complements each other to create a healing and comfortable first impression.
Upon entering the salon, visitors are immediately drawn to the delicate and refined details. For example, the curved ironwork adorning the main wall, skillfully sprayed white, blends seamlessly with the wall's curvature, adding a tactile warmth and a dynamic spatial expression. The central arched chandelier in the hair salon area, with its soft, understated light casting a sophisticated glow, exudes a sense of ease and elegance. Its perfectly proportioned, graceful curve has become a hallmark of the brand's personality. Through meticulous attention to detail, the salon's unique design is showcased, preserving cherished memories and creating a timeless, minimalist aesthetic.
